Rules

BELOW we have divided our rulesets into multiple sections

COMMUNITY RULES
  1. Respect and Courtesy: All members must treat each other with respect and courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, and offensive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of hate speech.
  2. Pre-Approval Process: New members must undergo a pre-approval process through our Discord server before joining the GTA FiveM server. This includes submitting an application and possibly participating in a brief interview with a community moderator if deemed neccesary.
  3. Age Requirement: All players must be at least 18 years old to join the server. Due to the mature nature of the content, we require players to be pre-approved via our Discord server to ensure compliance, some exceptions can be made but only by our Admin / Moderation Team.
  4. Community Engagement: Active participation in community discussions and events on Discord is encouraged. Engaging with other members, sharing ideas, and providing feedback helps to foster a positive and vibrant community.
  5. Conflict Resolution: Any conflicts or disputes should be resolved amicably and respectfully. If necessary, seek the assistance of a moderator or admin to mediate and resolve the issue.
  6. Privacy and Security: Respect the privacy and personal information of other members. Do not share or request personal details, and ensure that any shared content is appropriate and consensual.
  7. No Advertising: Advertising of other servers, websites, or products is strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved by an admin. This includes unsolicited private messages to other members.
  8. Content Sharing: When sharing content within the community, ensure it is relevant, appropriate, and adheres to community standards. Explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content is not permitted.
  9. Role-Play Consistency: While these guidelines focus on community interaction, maintaining consistency with your role-play character even in community spaces helps enhance the overall immersive experience. Avoid breaking character unnecessarily.
  10. Feedback and Improvement: We value the feedback of our community members. Suggestions for improvements, new features, and constructive criticism are always welcome. Please share your thoughts through the appropriate channels on our Discord server.

SERVER RULES
  1. Never be afraid to ask for help: Unlike a large portion of some servers, we’re here to help ease you into the world of GTA:RP, that said please try to keep non-rp matters outside of others immersion.
  2. Language: All players are required to be able to speak English, and should do so while communicating with players outside of their group. Roleplaying as a speaker of another language is allowed, but do consider that when speaking to other players they may only understand English.
  3. Microphones are Required: While we undestand that some people might be shy / unwanting to use their voice online, this is a requirement of ours and many other GTA:RP servers as it allows full player interaction.
  4. No Metagaming: Do not use information obtained out-of-character (OOC) for in-character (IC) advantages. Keep OOC and IC knowledge separate.
  5. No Powergaming: Do not force actions or outcomes on other players without their consent. Avoid using unrealistic or unfair tactics to gain an advantage.
  6. No Random Deathmatch (RDM): Do not attack or kill other players without a valid in-character reason. All violent interactions must be justified and role-played appropriately.
  7. No Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM): Do not use vehicles to randomly run over or kill players. Vehicle-related actions must be justified and role-played.
  8. No Exploiting or Cheating: Do not use cheats, exploits, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage. Report any bugs or exploits to server administrators.
  9. Consent and NSFW Content: All NSFW roleplay must be consensual and agreed upon by all involved parties. Such content should be conducted in designated private channels. Non-consensual acts, harassment, and explicit content involving sensitive topics are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in disciplinary actions, including possible bans.
  10. Abuse: There is a zero tolerance policy for racism, bestiality, homophobia/transphobia, and sexual harassment or assault. These actions will not be tolerated IC or OOC and will result in severe punishment.
  11. Respect the Server’s Economy: Do not engage in actions that disrupt the server’s economy, such as exploiting in-game currency. Follow the server’s guidelines for earning and spending money.
  12. Self Trading: Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method.

ROLE-PLAY RULES
  1. Role-Play at All Times: Remain in character at all times while in the game. Avoid breaking character (e.g., discussing real life or out-of-character information) unless absolutely necessary.
  2. No Powergaming: Do not force actions or outcomes on other players without their consent. Avoid using unrealistic or unfair tactics to gain an advantage.
  3. Fear Roleplay (FearRP): Show realistic fear for your character’s life in dangerous situations. Do not act recklessly when your character’s life is clearly at risk.
  4. New Life Rule (NLR): If your character dies, you must forget the events leading up to their death. Do not seek revenge or return to the location of your death immediately.
  5. OOC Usage: OOC chat is for help only, extended OOC interactions are forbidden and must not be used to broadcast events that you observe for example, you may not broadcast “X are going to rob the bank”.
  6. Cop Baiting – Excessive attempts to attract police attention without a quality reason.
  7. Combat Logging – If possible you must allow a scene to play out before disconnecting to avoid not being part of a situation, we understand the need to leave can happen at any time but please don’t abuse this fact.
  8. Taking Hostages: Hostages must be genuine and not be willing participants with the hostage takers. Both parties will be found at fault if the hostages are not genuine.
  9. Hospital / Safe Zone Fleeing: Fleeing into a Medical environment or safe zoned area such as the city hall to flee or hide from another party whilst in an active hostile situation, again such as public use offices, apartments, and other such locations is not allowed.
  10. Torture RP: RP that inflicts long lasting or permanent injuries requires /ooc consent before beginning. If no consent is given, you may only injure / down the player as normal.
  11. Supernatural RP: You might try to role-play a character that might believe that they are some kind of supernatural being which is fair enough, but you may not roleplay this using an abuse of emotes, /me, or scenes to appear to be levitating or to gain a view of any unrealistic qualities. 
  12. Sensitive Topics: Due to the sensitive nature of suicide, you are not permitted to roleplay self-harm or suicide plot points.
  13. Additional NSFW: Roleplay using bodily fluids inappropriately (pee, spit, fecal matter, etc) is not allowed. This includes use of emotes, /me, or scenes.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from the community, depending on the severity of the offense."
